The Dark Knight
If you live someplace where The Dark Knight is coming out tomorrow (or tonight at midnight), don't forget to go check it out, both for Cillian's cameo and return as Dr. Jonathan Crane/the Scarecrow, but also for everyone else's fantastic performances! If you don't have it yet, don't forget to go check it out when it comes to a cinema near you.

Cillian on a Postage Stamp!
Ever wanted to send a bit of mail out to your friends or family with Cillian's face on it? Now you can do that in the form of a postage stamp. Google's UK Press is reporting that Cillian will be a face on a new set of stamps that will "mark the film industry." Here's what the article says:
Irish actor Colm Meaney and comic Pat Shortt are to feature on new stamps marking the film industry.
Box office hits like The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Garage, Kings and Cre na Cille will be celebrated. Meaney starred in Kings while Shortt played the lead role in Garage, which impressed judges at the Cannes Film Festival.
Actor Cillian Murphy, who thrilled audiences in The Wind that Shakes the Barley and actress Brid Ni Neachtain of Irish language drama Cre na Cille, will also be featured. The stamps are due to be launched by An Post on July 8.

Cillian's Brush With Death!
An extra who got to work on the set of Peacock has updated her blog where she talked about her day on the set. She mentions where she was in the scene, and that it takes place in the 50s, and there's a mention of Cillian's character riding a bicycle behind where all of the extras were shooting (and that the film shoot has been terrible due to the weather), and then about how Cillian almost got ran over! Here are her quotes:
There were 60ish extras needed for the day. As you already know, it has been storms and tornadoes like crazy around here for what seems like weeks on end. The skies were no different than the rumbly gray mass it had been days prior. I learned from the crew the shoot has been kind of a nightmare because of the weather.
***
Cillian Murphy had to ride a bicycle down the street "behind" us and I can only assume when all these folksy townspeople are doing this very Americana milling about in the town square and Cillian's character rides by, it's going to be CREEPY. I can hardly wait to see it.
Then one of the people driving one of the old cars in the scene about ran over him. An assistant director was standing by me when that happened and I'm like, "Yeah, that'd be kind of bad to kill the star of the movie at this point, huh?" and he goes, "You know, you could even run over somebody with 4th or 5th billing...just don't kill the star."
He was OK. Not to worry.

Harper's Bazaar UK Scans
Thanks to the ever fantastic Corinne, we've now got some scans up in the gallery from the UK Harper's Bazaar interview with Cillian. He talks about listening to the band MGMT and a lot of Bob Dylan while he's in America, as well as his thoughts on not acting until a person is at least 20 years old. I also added a couple of scans from July/August 2007's Film Comment regarding Sunshine. Click the thumbnails to see them!

I uploaded 1,713 screencaps from the film, and you can see them by clicking the thumbnails below. I also added a few odds and ends photos that just weren't in the gallery yet, but rather than putting up thumbnails here, you can view the latest uploads in the gallery.

Cillian Murphy Blasts Keira Knightley Paparazzi
Showbiz Spy.com put up this little blurb where Cillian talks about the paparazzi who bothered Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller on the set of The Edge of Love.
Irish actor CILLIAN MURPHY has slammed the paparazzi for stalking his co-stars KEIRA KNIGHTLEY and SIENNA MILLER on the U.K. set of their forthcoming movie THE EDGE OF LOVE.
The star claims the actresses were harassed daily by the British press - and admits watching the photographers' behaviour made him feel uncomfortable.
He tells Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine, "It's not a pleasant thing to witness happening to such cool girls, and it makes it very hard for them to concentrate on their job.
"I totally admire them for putting up with it - if I walked out of my house every morning and there were 15 men waiting to photograph me, I couldn't do it."
